Lina Battestilli, Ph.D. receives Outstanding Teacher Award

Cultural Competence in Computing (3C) Fellow, Dr. Lina Battestilli, an Associate Teaching Professor in the Computer Science Department at North Carolina State University (NCSU) has been selected as a recipient of the Outstanding Teacher Award from the NCSU College of Engineering. "The Outstanding Teacher Award recognizes excellence in teaching at all levels. Upon being selected as an Outstanding Teacher, recipients become members of the Academy of Outstanding Teachers for as long as they are NC State faculty." In 2021, Dr. Battestilli was nominated by students for the COE Women and Minority Eng.  Best Online Pivot Award and by colleagues for the CSC Carla Savage Award and the CSC Person of Exceptional Performance Award
