Toldson ranks among the top 200 education scholars in the United States
Dr. Ivory Toldson, professor of counseling psychology at Howard University, NAACP national director of Education Innovation and Research, and editor-in-chief of The Journal of Negro Education, has earned a spot among the top 200 education scholars in the United States in the 2024 RHSU Edu-Scholar Public Influence Rankings, "an attempt to gauge impact, not the merits of a scholar’s contribution." This ranking acknowledges influential scholars in the areas of educational policy and practice. Dr. Toldson’s work includes his book, "No BS (Bad Stats): Black People Need People Who Believe in Black People Enough Not to Believe Every Bad Thing They Hear about Black People.” Dr. Toldsonm serves as an External Advisory Board member for The Alliance for Identity-Inclusive Computing Education, adding another dimension to his impactful contributions.
