We're hiring three (3) AiiCE-Postdoctoral Research Fellows with interests at the intersection of identity and computing! Applicants in CS/STEM Ed, Sociology, and other related STEM, social science, and humanities disciplines are encouraged to apply here! Priority review begins January 1, 2023, and positions begin summer 2023.

Documentary Screening: "Fixed: The Science/Fiction of Human Enhancement"

Disabilities, Opportunities, Internetworking, and Technology (DO-IT) will be hosting a screening of the documentary, Fixed, on Wednesday, August 3, 12–1:30pm Pacific Time/ 3-4:30pm Eastern Time over Zoom. The first hour we will watch the documentary followed by a 30 minute discussion of the film.

"Fixed: The Science/Fiction of Human Enhancement, explores the social impact of human biotechnologies. Haunting and humorous, poignant and political, Fixed rethinks "disability" and "normalcy" by exploring technologies that promise to change our bodies and minds forever."

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED VIA ZOOM.
