Written by: Amare Swierc

On Friday, September 13, 2024, Dr. Shaundra Daily, AiiCE Backbone Director, participated on a panel for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s 53 Annual Legislative Conference, “AI for the Culture Part 2: Uplifting Communities by Ensuring Equity of Access”. The conference was hosted by New York Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke and North Carolina Congresswoman Valerie Foushee and moderated by Maya Wiley, President and CEO of Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights and Leadership Conference Education Fund. The panel discussion was a deep dive into Artificial Intelligence, highlighting the intersection of research and development with civil society and community philanthropy. The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation is a nonprofit, nonpartisan public policy research and education institute that does powerful, impact-driven work to increase equality in underserved communities. These kinds of events and discussions are essential to building inclusive environments that allow all people to thrive. Congratulations and thank you to Dr. Shaundra Daily!
