Daily featured in Duke University's “Our Stories: Trailblazers”

Dr. Shaundra Daily, AiiCE Backbone Director, was recently featured in the Duke University “Our Stories: Trailblazers” highlight for the Duke Centennial for helping to create a more equitable STEM education system. A Cue Family Professor of the Practice of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science and Education Workforce Director for the Athena AI Institute, Dr. Daily’s research involves designing, implementing, and evaluating technologies, programs, and curricula to revolutionize STEM fields. Dr. Daily was one of two faculty members recognized by North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper in 2022 as a Black leader in STEM education. In April of this year, she and colleagues were appointed to develop competencies for the National Academies’ Future Of Data And Computing: The Role Of K-12 Committee. In 2022 Dr. Daily became one of the first QuadEx Faculty Fellows at Duke. Along with Dr. Nicki Washington, Dr. Daily founded AiiCE with funding from the National Science Foundation. What an amazing way to recognize the incredible advancements of Dr. Shaundra Daily! Congratulations!
